Our Fishing Safaris are ideal for all abilities and provide everything you need to enjoy this rewarding experience: Fishing Permit, Rods, Reels, Line and Lures – even wellie boots if necessary!
Most importantly we also provide the services of a Fishing Ghillie – he has a wealth of fishing expertise as well as local knowledge and makes the perfect guide to successful fishing. He is great company too and he is sure to make this an experience for you to remember!
The banks of the River Tay and The River Lyon are tranquil and beautiful and are only a short drive from Highland Safaris. They offer a brilliant opportunity to spot birdlife, wildlife, fauna and flora and are perfect for safe bank fishing.

Options :
- Permits: Trout Permits for River Lyon available to purchase at Highland Safaris. Then simply enjoy your fishing on this lovely river.
- Rod Hire + Permits: Hire of Salmon/Trout Rod, Lures or Fly's and Fishing Permit. Then make your way to the river, all equipped for some fishing.
- Tuition + Rod Hire + Permits: Short Transfer and familiarisation of river and fishing techniques by Fishing Ghillie (1½hrs including transfers). After your introduction from your Ghillie, the day is your own to enjoy your Fishing (
