With a passion and knowledge of the area, wildlife, the surrounding environment, the rich heritage and fascinating culture, Highland Safaris have created Photo Safaris that allow you to engage with the Scottish wilderness
Inspirational Photography - Nature in Close Up
The aim of a Photo Safari is to gain a deepening appreciation of the natural world whilst learning to make the best of your own photography equipment. Whether you have a compact digital camera or an SLR and simply want to get the best out of it, this is the safari for you.
Highland Perthshire is an area of outstanding natural beauty – a photographer's dream with abundant fauna and flora. In the company of renowned field naturalist, writer, photographer and Safari Ranger Polly Pullar, you will be taken on a day of adventure to help you develop a real eye for a picture.
You may spend time in wild flower rich meadows and riverbanks or in spring and autumnal woodlands. You may take landscape shots of loch and glen, or simply learn how to take better outdoor portraits and close-ups. You may stop to spy red deer on the high tops, or simply to study the glistening dewdrops on a verdant patch of moss, or the stunning patterns of lichen on an old stone wall. Who knows what you may find or photograph.
Though there are no guarantees as to what you may see, we do guarantee that you have a wonderful enlightening adventure whilst learning how to further your photography skills.
If time allows at the end of the day your photographs can be reviewed on a laptop.
