Marvel at the scenery in a land steeped in history with breathtaking views and no shortage of photo opportunities. You may even be lucky enough to see the Majestic Red Deer, the Famous Grouse, the elusive Mountain Hare and the soaring Golden Eagle, but most of all the safari will provide a new insight into this amazing natural wilderness and how we can best protect its future.

Transport is by Land Rover Defender or Discovery with a Safari Ranger who is a qualified off road driving Instructor and first aider.

You need to bring
Bring suitable outdoor clothing and shoes or boots and a sense of Adventure. Cameras are definitely recommended.

Our Mountain Bothies
We have 2 Mountain Bothies – The Schiehallion Bothy and the Foss Bothy, both set above 1500'. These are both ideal places to have a coffee or tea with a dram of Dewars Whisky and a piece of Kenmore Shortbread, and are situated with fantastic views in all directions. Or why not extend your Mountain Safari and go for a Mountain Safari Trek - in one of our fabulous Mountain Bothies, enjoy a delicious picnic made in our very own Safari Lodge Cafe.

The Weather

We often get 4 seasons in one day in Scotland. Please do not be put off by bad or stormy weather as this is often the best time to see a Red Grouse in the heather or some Deer sheltering close to our safari tracks. The light on the hills can change in seconds which is a photographers dream and will leave everlasting memories.
